Update: Female sentenced to 3 years PROBATION. Male is scheduled for trial in late October 2025.

What would you do if you walked into your son's kitchen and found him dead? Murdered. 

ARE YOU COMFORTABLE KNOWING THAT PEOPLE CAPABLE OF PARTICIPATING IN A HEINOUS, SENSELESS, UNPROVOKED MURDER ARE OUT AND ABOUT IN OUR COMMUNITY? ONLY THE PROSECUTOR CAN HAVE THE INVESTIGATION REOPENED AND FILE ADDITIONAL CHARGES SO SEBASTIAN CAN GET JUSTICE. WE NEED YOUR HELP. THREE OTHER PEOPLE WERE THERE YET NO DNA TESTING WAS DONE. HAD ALL 3 BEEN APPROPRIATELY PROSECUTED FOR PRIOR CRIMES, THEY WOULD HAVE ALL HAVE BEEN IN PRISON THAT NIGHT. ARMED ROBBERY, ARSON, ASSAULT, DRUGS, WEAPONS, THEFT...HOW CAN THIS BE TRUE?

Sebastian William James Igafo-Te'o, a Samoan American male born on 6/23/93, was brutally murdered in his own home on 10/24/23 in Jackson, Michigan. He was stabbed 73 times. 38 of those were to his head, face, and neck. Sebastian also had numerous defensive wounds on his hands and arms. He was unarmed and in his own kitchen. He was a kind and devoted father whose life was taken in a senseless act of cruelty.  He loved playing his guitar, playing League of Legends, growing beautiful things, and just being alive.

His little boy still doesn't understand and keeps asking if his Dada is coming back.

We demand justice for Bash and call for all those involved before, during, and after the crime to be held accountable for their actions. However, we are not getting justice. 

Deals were offered without even knowing the consistent whereabouts of the perpetrators for at least 2 hours after the murder, along with vital, missing evidence that may blow this case wide open. The judge ignored our pleas. Criminals don't have to say anything but evidence still can speak for Bash. 

They arrived in a stolen vehicle which means they were already actively committing a felony yet this FACT has not been mentioned in court. Death during the commission of a felony is murder. Why was no one charged with that? Why would something so important be kept out?

And if that wasn't enough, not only was I told first-hand that it was a robbery, it was mentioned on the stand under oath. Again, no one has been charged with felony robbery, which, you guessed it, would also mean his death took place during the commission of yet another felony. Robbery has not been mentioned in court, either. 

By omitting all of this information, along with the FACT that less than a year before Bash's murder, she manipulated 2 other men and orchestrated a gang-style beating on a man in his bed. Photos were taken, a statement was given, the victim expressed the desire to file charges...but the prosecutor declined to press charges against her. These repeated actions by the prosecution have shown BIAS AGAINST THEIR OWN VICTIM and have CONTRIBUTED TO THE DEFENSE. This is called Prosecutorial Bias.

We only want to know what all of the facts are. Not just the ones conveniently available. Sebastian deserves the full efforts of the justice system. Sebastian went the extra mile for everyone who needed help. He was selfless, humble, peaceful, and full of life. Is it too much to ask that law enforcement and the prosecutor's office give him the same justice they'd seek for their own children? We are not asking for special treatment. We are just asking for all avenues to be exhausted before potentially releasing repeat violent criminals back into the community. We are thankful for their efforts but just need them to dig deeper for the truth. Thank you.

1. Demand that existing evidence be tested!
2. Urge police and prosecution to continue to collect and examine evidence. 
3. Urge police and prosecution to seek additional witnesses from that night. Witnesses can be human, video, audio, traffic cameras, home security cameras, business cameras, etc.
4. Urge them to exhaust ALL leads.
5. Urge them to interview and reinterview.
6. Let Judge Jordan know how you feel about the female defendant's no-strings deal. 
7. Let the prosecution know how you feel about repeat offenders walking around in our community.
8. Let the police know we appreciate them and NEED THEIR HELP. 

You never know when you've found or know something vital to a case unless you turn it in. If you saw or heard something please come forward. Sebastian's life mattered. Please help us fight for justice. If this happened to Sebastian, it can happen to your family, too. 

Violence doesn't discriminate nor does it have boundaries. Victims should never have to beg for justice.
